abstract: During the semester three field trips to different areas of the Department were made: the first path was to Santa Fe de Antioquia with 6 intermediate stations ; at the second field trip , the road ended in Rio Claro , with 5 intermediate stations ; the third end Bolombolo town , in which 7 stations were performed . In each of the outputs rocks were identified with different lithology outcrops are recognized , the structural components were analyzed and their shapes and sizes were determined . The instruments required in the different outputs , consisted of: maps, magnifying glass, compass , measuring tape , protractor , milestone , camera , altimeter , plastic bags, hammer , GPS, and field notebooks .
In each of the stations of different outputs , the teacher make a brief introduction to the geological characteristics of the environment, and every student , according to the map available, take notes and observations of the relevant aspects as geographic location, lithology identification and preparation outline outcrop. The samples were collected, labeled and carried the plastic bag. When the outcrop samples contained no rocks studends have to took pictures with their respective scales.
introducción: Durante el semestre se realizaron tres salidas de campo a diferentes zonas del Departamento: el primer recorrido llegó hasta Santafé de Antioquia con 6 estaciones intermedias; En la segunda salida, el recorrido terminó en Rio Claro, con 5 estaciones intermedias; la tercera llegó al municipio de Bolombolo, en la cual se realizaron 7 estaciones. En cada una de las salidas se identificaron las rocas, se reconocieron los diferentes afloramientos con sus características litológicas, se analizaron sus componentes estructurales y se determinaron sus formas y tamaños. El instrumental requerido en las distintas salidas, consistió en: mapas, lupa, brújula, cinta métrica, transportador, jalón, cámara fotográfica, altímetro, bolsas plásticas, martillo, GPS, y libretas de campo.

En cada una
de las estaciones de las distintas salidas, se hizo, por parte de la profesora,
una breve introducción sobre las características geológicas del entorno, y
posteriormente cada estudiante se ubicaba según el mapa del que disponía y
tomaba los apuntes y observaciones de los aspectos relevantes como ubicación
geográfica, identificación litológica, elaboración del esquema del
afloramiento. Posteriormente se tomaron las muestras, se marcaron y se llevaron a la bolsa plástica. Cuando el afloramiento no contenía muestras de rocas, se
tomaron fotos con sus respectivas escalas.
